Summer Movie Tickets Starting at $1
Take your kids to the movies this summer. Seriously. Forget the Redbox, the Netflix, the On-Demand for once and go to an actual theater. Don’t worry about the cost…I’m not kidding. Scavenge the loose change out of the cushions and car floor and you will have enough moolah to hit the theaters. Kids love it, and I promise it won’t break the bank. I love it too- getting out of the house on a hot (or rainy) day and going to the movies is just fun!
Just minutes past the Cary border you will find the Carmike Cinemas Blue Ridge 14 movie theater. Located at 600 Blue Ridge Rd in Raleigh, every movie shown here is only $2! Sure, they are a few months behind new releases, but honestly, who cares? They are only $2!
If you go a lot throughout the year, you may also want to invest in their Popcorn Buckets. Basically, you buy a huge bucket of popcorn for around $20+, but then you get to bring that bucket back anytime and refills are only $2.50! Its a great deal- especially one bucket can feed a huge heard of kids- just bring some brown paper lunch bags to help divvy it up.
Another great movie deal can be found this summer in Apex. Check out the Regal Theaters 2012 Summer Movie Express:
The Regal Beaver Creek Stadium, 1441Beaver Creek Commons Drive in Apex, will host kids movies every Tuesday and Wednesday at 10am, for only $1! Get there early, cuz the lines are loooong. Here’s this summer’s line-up:
